I began my career at Rayten Engineering Solutions in September 2017 as an Office Administrator. In this role, I was instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of the office while providing a professional and welcoming first impression to all visitors. The role demanded a high level of organization, excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, qualities that I consistently demonstrated.
In 2019, I expanded my responsibilities by assisting in the Finance Department. My support in the financial operations of the company included processing invoices in Pastel, managing creditors’ accounts, receiving customer purchase orders, and opening new project numbers. I also took on the task of generating internal purchase orders and provided general administrative support, including filing, data entry, and document management.
By 2022, I assume the role of Junior bookkeeper within the Finance Department. My work in this capacity further solidified my understanding of the financial aspects of the business.
In 2023, I was given the opportunity to further my professional development by completing an advanced Human Resource Management course through the University of Cape Town, from which I received my certification upon completion. This educational achievement prepared me to take on the responsibilities of Human Resource Manager, a role I now fulfil with the same commitment I’ve shown throughout my tenure at Rayten.
As the Human Resource Manager, I ensure that the HR Department aligns with the company’s goals, fosters a positive work environment, and upholds the highest legal and ethical standards. I believe that “Investing in our people today is building our success for tomorrow.” This philosophy reflects my view that by supporting and developing employees, Rayten is not only addressing immediate needs but also laying the foundation for long-term organizational growth.
