Jacob Dube is a Project Co-Ordinator at Rayten Engineering Solutions (Pty) Ltd. He was introduced to the Air Quality monitoring industry in 2008 and over the years he has been involved in numerous projects ranging from ambient air quality monitoring, dust fallout monitoring, calibrations and stack emissions monitoring. With over 14 years experience in the field of Air Quality Monitoring, Jacob has also played an integral role in Rayten as the Laboratory manager and worked hard to achieve SANAS accreditation for the company in 2020. Jacob was employed for 6 years as field technician, then lead technician, laboratory manager and then appointed as Project co-ordinator in 2022. His responsibilities now include management of field technicians, implementing and maintaining quality control procedure in line with the SANAS accreditation requirements, project planning, client and supplier liaison, marketing, and compilation of air quality reports for stack emissions testing and dust fallout monitoring. Jacob now focuses on using his experience in the air quality monitoring field to train junior air quality technicians and reviewing reports their work. These are essential aspects in ensuring the intellectual growth of the company and maintaining the company’s integrity.

During his time at Rayten, Jacob has learnt that teamwork is vital in ensuring the company’s continued growth and success. He also values other people’s opinions as they ensure personal growth and improvement.
