Jacques Le Roux is currently the Technical Director at Rayten Engineering Solutions, Johannesburg. He started working at Rayten in 2012 as a field technician. He was responsible for dust fallout monitoring and assisted senior scientists with report writing. In 2014 he was part of the first stack emission monitoring team at Rayten.
In 2018 he was promoted to technical manager and supervised site works with a team of two technicians. He also started putting in the place the processes required for SANAS accreditation for stack emission monitoring and dust fallout monitoring. He completed a course in ISO17025:2017 implementation as well as a SANAS internal auditor course. Rayten successfully acquired SANAS accreditation in 2020 and Jacques was the responsible technical and quality manager.
In 2021 he was promoted to technical director and is now responsible for all technical work carried out at Rayten. He supervises project managers and project co-ordinators as well as four stack testing teams. He is also the responsible technical signatory for SANAS as well as health and safety on site and in the office and laboratory.
